Title: Getting help, 2018

When I was a kid, I fell off the verandah and cracked my head. Dad was in Sydney with the car, so while my Mum looked after me stretched out on the dinner table, my older sister had run to the neighbours house, in the dark of night with only a torc, she ran down our street through the spotted gum forrest, and across the sand past the rolling waves to the Tich’s home on the headland. Tich jumped in the car with my sister and I was taken to the doctor gettng three stiches.

Method: Felt-tip pen drawings coloured in Photoshop.
