Ulladulla Primary School Mural

An old friend and wonderful artist Liz Craig asked if I’d like to be involved in helping to paint a mural for Ulladulla Primary School with herself and Christine Cook (Year 1 teacher). It was lots of fun especially when we thought about how the children would enjoy playing and interacting with the artwork.

We were guided by a design Liz had drawn which was a map of the streets of Ulladulla plus local landmarks and fun elements such as a dragon in Milton Creek. The idea was that children could play cars and other games with the mural and it would improve the school grounds

I had great fun painting Warden Head light, firetrucks, dragons, ambulance, heritage headstones, pirate ships, wreck sites, One Track For All, surf spots and sports area.
